A few months ago my Pastor asked some of the young adults to talk about what we were thankful for. When it was my time to speak, I referenced a scripture in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and it talks about thanking God no matter what.
Thanking God no matter what takes faith because you may not be in the best situation right now, maybe you lost your job or you didn’t accomplish all of your goals last year. The good thing is that we are alive so we can get back up and start over again. God has given us life so everyday that we are alive, we have something to thank God for…no matter what.
If any of the situations below happen to you, Thank God no matter what
you have just been laid off your job – Thank God no matter what
the doctor gave you a negative report – Thank God no matter what
there is not enough money to cover your bills - Thank God no matter what
you feel helpless in your situation- Thank God no matter what
your house is going into foreclosure – Thank God no matter what
you can’t have children – Thank God no matter what
you’ve been single for a long time – Thank God no matter what
your business doesn’t seem to be successful – Thank God no matter what
you didn’t get that promotion that you expected – Thank God no matter what
you didn’t get accepted in the school that you want to attend – Thank God no matter what
you just experienced major disappointment from someone very close to you – Thank God no matter what
No matter what the situation is, thank God
