Fashion faux pas abound and here are a few suggestions to help you “take it personal”…
- Match your socks to your pants, not to your shirt.
-DO NOT wear a belt with suspenders.
-DO NOT be afraid to add color to your wardrobe.
-DO NOT match clothing to your skin tone.
-What does “black tie optional” mean? Dark suits are perfectly acceptable.
-Rubber soled shoes are Woody’s number “1″ choice for comfort

Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I just celebrated our first wedding anniversary. We are so excited to have made it through year one. During Memorial Day weekend we did a quick getaway to Ross Bridge Resort in Hoover, AL. The place is absolutely gorgeous and it is highly recommended.
You have everything that you need right there in the hotel. You don’t have to leave for anything. They have restaurants, a spa, pools (indoor and outdoor), a beautiful golf course and even a general store with a coffee shop.
The resort is about ten miles from the interstate, so you can easily get back to the main road for other dining spots. If you are in the metro Atlanta area, then this is a 2.5 hour trip that you definitely want to take.
