Spinach Brownies

So spinach brownies may not sound appetizing, but they are to me and have become a favorite recipe at my house. The basic ingredients are butter, milk, eggs, bisquick, onion, cheese and spinach. I think it would make a great meal for dinner, brunch, appetizer, etc. Check out the
recipe at AJC . This is an AJC Evening Edge recipe that was featured last year.

Intimate Wedding/ Vow Renewal Packages

A lot of engaged couples are choosing to do the intimate wedding packages. I like the idea of smaller guests list and more time to mix and mingle with family and friends. There are two places that I found in Atlanta that offer these small wedding packages.

Chateau Elan offers two packages that are great and what an awesome location. Yes, it’s on the pricey side but you are paying for the name and I think it’s worth the money. Besides, you will have gorgeous pics. The Ritz Carlton Buckead offers a 25 or less guests package that is basically an elegant dessert reception. This will cost you lots of pretty pennies, but once again you are paying for the name.

Honestly, you could probably re-create each of these packages if you are on a budget, but if you have the money, then this would be nice. Either one of these packages would be great for a vow renewal as well.

Israel & New Breed

Check out the blog about New Breed on Israel’s website. I never thought that New Breed was going anywhere, but Israel confirms this on his blog. Basically there will be Israel cds and New Breed cds. New Breed’s cd “Generation: Love” will release sometime this year. I am looking forward to that because I have been wearing out the “Kingdom” cd.

The Power of One – Israel Houghton

So I purchased the new Israel Houghton cd (Power of One) last week and I love it. Every track is different so I really can’t choose a favorite, but “Just Wanna Say” keeps ringing in head as well as “You Found Me.” I’m telling you – if you are looking for something different, then this is it. The instrumentation on “You Found Me” is crazy. The “My Tribute Medley” is so nice. It definitely puts a twist on the traditional version. There is truly a track for everyone on this album –for pretty much every genre. I believe that this cd is a must have. ***Hot Find: Get the cd for $10 on Israel’s website - offer ends 4/24/2009.

Unique Gifts

Unique gifts for anyone -One of my side hobbies is Revelations, which are names revealed in a scripture. I believe that it is a must have for every man, woman and child especially when the Word of God has something to do with it. It makes a great gift for just about any occasion, baby showers, weddings, birthdays, mother’s day, father’s day and Christmas. Running of the Brides

Ladies if you are getting married soon, then you may want to check out the Running of the Brides event. This event is held every year at Filene’s Basement in various cities across the US. The Atlanta event is Friday, March 20, 2009. You can find thousands of designer dresses on the racks just waiting for a beautiful bride. The dresses are sold in three price points: $249, $499 and $699.

My advice would be to take some help with you because the racks and racks of dresses can be a bit overwhelming. You don’t have to camp out, you can miss the crowd in the morning and go later in the day for a more peaceful shopping experience.
